The series comprehensively introduces the basic situation of contemporary China and the development path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.A Glimpse of China， focusing on the basic circumstances of China， offers an overview of the formation history of China as a multi-ethnic nation and the evolution of Chinese civilization. It traces the path of struggle and development in China since modern times， the journey from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the era of reform and opening-up， the historical achievements of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects， and the new journey along the Chinese path to modernization. It also delves into the current opportunities and challenges that China faces， and China’s contribution to world development through its own progression， among other topics.
作者簡介
魯廣錦，法學(xué)博士，中國人權(quán)研究會副會長，吉林大學(xué)法學(xué)院教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。曾任國務(wù)院新聞辦人權(quán)事務(wù)局局長、中國人權(quán)研究會秘書長，主持撰寫中國政府系列白皮書，組織起草《國家人權(quán)行動計劃》，多次策劃召開相關(guān)國際學(xué)術(shù)會議，主持國家科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目，在《求是》等報刊發(fā)表文章數(shù)十篇，其中多篇文章被《新華文摘》等轉(zhuǎn)引刊登。陳堅，法學(xué)博士，中央黨史和文獻(xiàn)研究院國家高端智庫專家、研究員，中國中共黨史學(xué)會黨建史專委會副秘書長，全國多所高?？妥淌冢嗉抑醒爰壝襟w特約撰稿人，多次參與國家社科基金項(xiàng)目，發(fā)表理論與學(xué)術(shù)文章100余篇，出版政黨政治類圖書著作十多部，其中包括《當(dāng)代中國政治》（2019）。Lu Guangjin， a doctor of laws， serves as the Vice President of the China Society for Human Rights Studies， and is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Jilin University’s School of Law. He once worked as Director of the Bureau of Human Rights Affairs of the State Council Information Office and Secretary-General of the China Society for Human Rights Studies. Lu has led the creation of a series of white papers of the Chinese government， and organized the drafting of the Human Rights Action Plan of China. He has also headed key projects under the National Social Science Fund of China and published dozens of articles.Chen Jian， a doctor of laws， is a specialist and researcher for the National High-End Think Tank of the Institute of Party History and Literature at the CPC Central Committee. He serves as a guest professor at multiple universities nationwide， and a dedicated contributor to several central-level media outlets. Chen has often been involved in projects under the National Social Science Fund of China， has published over 100 theoretical and academic papers， and authored over ten books on party politics， including Contemporary China’s Politics （2019）.
