　　本書由作者倪娜用英文撰寫，圖文并茂，全書配有齊白石生平黑白照片56張和繪畫作品彩圖37張，真實(shí)地再現(xiàn)了齊白石偉大的一生：出身世代貧農(nóng)家庭，7歲因家境貧寒而輟學(xué)，13歲拜師學(xué)作木匠，15歲時(shí)學(xué)雕花并自學(xué)繪畫，27歲拜師學(xué)畫，攻讀詩(shī)文和自學(xué)篆刻，53歲漂泊北京，開始了衰年變法，衍生紅花墨葉一脈的齊派畫風(fēng)。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

　　倪娜，1974至1978 在北京第二外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院英語(yǔ)系學(xué)習(xí)。1981年起為英文報(bào)紙China Daily 撰稿。出版中譯英著作有《我的丈夫溥儀》（2008年）和《溥儀的后半生》（2012年）；英文著作《中國(guó)畫大家——王西京》（外文出版社，2019年出版）。
